Stuff I've Seen

A few more photos from our time in Crete, just random bits from random journeys.

Our last day in Crete found us wandering the streets of the capital and enjoying the museum display housing most of the artefacts of Knossos.

Our nearest town had a lovely Venetian port surrounded by markets and traditional eateries.

Thanks to our crappy SatNav we ended up taking the scenic route around the tiny roads leading to the beach.

A really interesting visit to an ancient site, marred only by the excessive heat! I was dying of heat exhaustion but Jenn was loving the hot weather.

And everyone comes out to play :-)

A very windy day, we checked out the fortress and enjoyed some of the narrow streets of the Old Town.
